I believe my ebrake is froze. I set it once a year and a half ago. I seized, but I was able to "un-seize" it by prying the calipers with the tire iron. Today I went to change the break pads and couldn't "push" the breaks open (c-clamp). It wouldn't budge. I'm not sure if something happened internally when the ebreak was depressed. HELP!

Is there something I can do to "force" or to unlock the ebrake?

There is something weird about how you need to release the rear calipers...let me go look it up.

Send me your e-mail address and I'll e-mail you the PDF of the procedures:

you didn't seize it.. i had this problem.. i had to let it go cause i couldn't figure out how to open them up. so if he can figure it out good luck man

I wish I could just post the PDF, its too big the site says. In short though, you need a special tool to twist down the caliper.
