95 mark viii a/c service port?

I cannot find the low pressure service port to fit my r134a charging hose. I thought it was the image i am pasting below but it will not fit on that port. Please advise. thanks

That's the correct port, maybe you have the wrong fitting or not inserting it correctly.


I hate to say this.. But did you remove the cap.

haha yes i did. the hose end seems too big but i have used it with my tahoe. I just bought this lincoln for $650 trying to charge a/c..

Well that is the correct port. Either the port is damaged or something's up with the tool you're trying to use. Any cheap walmart r134 charger clips right on there.

That is the correct port. I have had problems on the last 3 accumulators I have put in my mark. I find I have to wedge a piece of wood on top of my fitting and under the aluminum hide above it to keep constant pressure on it while charging the system.
