96-98 chip for sale.

I have a reinhart chip for sale that I had in my 96 mark8. the code is ebp0. I also have the computer I will include if your code doesn't match. the computers should just swap out. Your car must be a 96 or newer, or be obd2. asking $150 shipped without the computer, with the computer add the difference in shipping if more then 10 dollars.

i'm looking at the reinhart site: is it the SCT Chip that you are selling. is there any info on the setup of the tune?

its been years, so I am not positive the exact tune and what he did to it you would have to call reinheart . I know I had gears, headers, and a stall converter, but I had the chip long before my headers and stall and I am almost 100 percent sure I did NOT have to send it in for a reburn., that it was a generic program.

You have to ask them. and hope they give you an honist answer, instead of just sayng it wont work just to sell you a new chip. I believe its a generic mark8 program that you don't have to get reburnt unless you go with boost.

Like I said I got this chip before I put the stall in. and pretty sure I didn't have to send it in to be reflashed

Correction.. must be 96 ONLY...

That PCM or chip wont work in an 97 or 98 mark 8.

Yep, the 96 PCM is very different from the gen 2 even though they are both OBD2...

well does anyone want the chip? I think a reburn isn't that much money compared to a new chip... so if you bought it and sent it for a reburn I am sure it will still be cheaper. 100 bucks, if no takers its going on e-bay and c/l.

I can offer you $50 + $5 shipping for the blank chip. Hardware is cheap, it's the software where the value comes in.
