most know these things are non exsistent now adays i have a left and right off a 96 with 81k. asking $100 each i will seperate them. if they go on ebay the reserve will be set higher so i am offering these here first after the bitch of a time i had getting them off the car in the boneyard with the wrong tools and in the 105 degree sun i wont negotiate price! if you want to buy both of them i will sell the pair for $180, or $100 each.

what makes them rare is they are both vacuum and electrical and specific to 96's only and dont exsist anymore. a real nightmare for owners of 96 mark VIII's

I had a guy come into the dealer I work at and needed the actuators and said his was both vacuum and electrical and had bought an aftermarket on which was for a 97 I think but the linkage was not straight like his on the 96, that is weird that it has the intake like the earlier ones but a diff actuator. Remind me never to get a 95. I think the fan module is that year only also correct???

no 96, 96 intake is the same as 93-95 and so are the actual IMRC's themselves, the actuator at the back of the runner looks similar to the 93-95 with the exception of an electrical harness on top of it.

no this is what you said.....

wow i am doing a cobra intake swap on my 96 and deleting the IMRC's, good thing i saw this thread or i would have probally thrown mine out lol.

Well, no :q:q:q:q. What specifically? I haven't actually ever seen them up close and want to make sure I have the right tools with me.

I have 2 sets for a 96, I'll keep one as a spare if anyone is stuck and in need PM me, and they won't be $100 each either (you should get a jar of vasoline with that bill), I took mine off in 85 degree weather with tools available, and I survived to tell about it...:p

Let's not start complaining about how much jaimie wants for his set. As things become rare, the price goes up. The last price from ford for the drivers side, was over $500. I bought mine about a year before they went obsolete. At that time they listed for almost $472 ea. It is what it is.

This was just the actuators, not the complete IMRC plate.

yeah and the price max last had was $279 EACH for the actuators so it is what it is. so i guess i'm the dickhead now. i dont see the buyer complaining about the price.

Thats correct driller. This is for the actuator only! I paid $271 ea. plus shipping. Not to mention the little plastic bushing. I think that was $5 a piece.

I just wanted to make sure that was clear - I don't think some of the previous posters were aware of that. ;)
