I hate to do it, I dont really have a choice at the moment.. cash is required.
I'm selling my 96 Lincoln.
Txt me @ 215-528-3904

2500.. Firm. PA inspected till 3/2012

Have updated to a 98 trans, j-moded, have replaced all upper and lower CA's, Newer Radiator, Waterpump, resevoir, thermostat just replaced, Newer tires (10K miles) replaced rear calipers and 1 front calipers, rotors, front air struts replaced 2 years, newer used air pump, rear struts 2 years, have set of new air struts for front as well. IMRC's replaced 2 years ago. Has Diablo sport chip, always runs Premium, new plugs and wires 1 year ago, no check engine lights, runs like a rapped ape, always lights them up at WOT. car does get driven atleast 30K a year back to back every day 84 miles commute to work. burns no oil, however does have slight oil leak, I have not determined where yet. may be oil pan, or front seal, not valve covers that I can tell.definatly on lower section., the oil filter seal was replaced 2 years ago as well. I use sea foam regularly, every 3 months. in fuel and crankcase.
I have a few parts extra if your interested. I will provide with the car. tail lights, extra FMC alt.(used but good) fuel pump(Used) AC Compressor (Used), Still have old 96 Trans if you wish to tinker. and drive shaft, the U-Joints are wiped but shaft is solid. During upgrade to 98 Trans, we did the re-pin method, works flawlessly, IF for whatever reason you need to replace this trans, its simply a 2 step process, cut off the ear on the bell housing and plug the new 98 into the existing harness no other mods required. Every option on my car works except the AC. I did not get the chance to swap out the AC compressor yet and the seal behind the clutch is leaking, the rest of the system is tight. I even have new seal kit for the system if you should want to replace any of them. I also right before the seal on AC went, I put on a new clutch assembly (Four seasons) on the old pump, I would recommend swapping it to the newer pump. its brand new. anyway, here is the list of things required and done you take it for what its worth, I want 2500.00 firm. cleans up real nice. Let me know.
Thanks

Bill

P.s. I will post pics here as soon as I get a few new shots, but in my sig you can see what it looks like.

It really sucks that you have to sell the car after all the work you put into it. Seems to me like it's a steal at $2500. Good luck with the sale.

Its a nice car.
Gen 1 LSC's are getting rare.

You car is worth every penny your asking.

Thanks,
I have not had any offers on it.
Bill

What do you expect when you put "Firm" next to the price, people don't feel you're open to offers. I'm sure it's worth $2500 but saying you NEED to sell it and the Price is firm is a oxymoron. Either the price is firm, because you don't need to sell it, or you need to sell it and are open to offers.

Always bothers me when people put both in a post. I usually never respond just because it makes the person sound arrogant, not the kind of seller I want to deal with, not to say you are, it's just how I feel.

I think its explained properly, I do need to sell but also know the value of the car and expect 2500.00. so I stand firm with the price. I'm not going to cut my nose off to spite my face.. if you get my meaning. as the car is my daily driver, to sell today will be good, but I have no major issues with it and to continue driving it would still be ok. I have access to a cheap beater car so I am going to jump on it for 500.00 and the rest goes to cover what I need. so I have a figure and kinda need to stand by it. I'm letting it go for what I actually need out of it not any more. I've heard some say its worth more but want to get caught up. so hope that clears this up for you.
Thanks
Bill

the car is worth $2500 all day...but on this forum you will never get any respect in regards to value of your vehicle...best bet is keep your business private and advertise locally.

Naa, I beleive that there are some on here who can be honest and realize when someone is in a pinch and realize when someone is trying to take advantage of something. I still want the car. I'm really trying to work things out but it looks like the fastest way for me to make the deadline I have is to sell the car. It is also locally for sale too as well as C/L but hey giving all an option here.
Thanks

If lscgirl was smart she would jump on this deal.

If this was last year when I had wads of cash all the time, I'd fly up there and get that. It's well worth $2500 all day long. I know just about everything you have done to it. The transmission upgrade alone is a major plus and it also has HID housings with an aftermarket HID kit, if I'm not mistaken.

It also has a flawless rear window seal like mine. The color isn't an ugly color. Not fond of the interior color but just like I did on the 95, It can be changed in a day. I don't see anything at all wrong with your asking price. If I had it, I'd come get it but the timing at the moment is off for me as appears it is for you too.

Bill, you might want to list the mileage on it. Good luck with the sale. Hate to see you get rid of it but times for some are getting tight as hell right now.

Nope they are original HID's. its all factory except the Chip, Flowmasters, and 98 Trans. I do have a track-lok that never went in with 3:55's too.
Oh due to 7 day a week travel to work 84 miles round trip high mileage. 187 on the clock.

And sure, it's stupid to advertise in the for sale section, just like it's stupid to mod your car...
