'96 LSC HID's now installed in a '94

ok so I got them installed and they work very very good (thx GMan )

but everyonce in awhile when i have them on and have them on for awhile i will get a check exteror lamps message on the computer

if i just turn them on they are fine if i hit sys. check then they come up with that error, only when they are on.......

but the light work fine??????? :shifty: :shifty:
any ideas if this is OK and should just reset the message when if comes up?

Funny thing about the lights message...mine always said ok, yet there were a few bulbs out.

It tells you how to disable that message.

I have them too and they are awesome!!
those are the ballast's behind the grill. I just hit the reset on mine when it does that.

LOL. It reads the lights as inoperative because of the reduced load? Proves how efficient HID lights are.

JC, the HIDs look killer, you should repaint that front bumper so there are no holes in it.

Thanks. Yeah, I will be getting around to that as soon as I get some extra cash. I took the front plate mount off because it looked funny on there. and all I had was some scotch weld epoxy to fill the holes in. since that pic was taken I painted the hole's with a silver sharpy. and it looks a little better now.
