97 anti-theft

Does the 97 have an anti-theft module like the Mark? My roommate has an issue where its killing the fuel pump, at least according to the shop. On the Mark you can unplug it and your fine, just no more alarm.

How is the Conti setup? If there is a module, where is it?

The Lighting Control Module (LCM) is home to the anti theft and is incorporated into the light switch.

If you properly open up the car, the anti theft system is reset.

The car is properly opened.

SO the anti-theft and lighting module are on in the same. Dang.

My friends 96 conti had the exact problem....

He had the dealer reset the security system twice and it would work for 6 months or so.... never could remedy the problem entirely.

I think there are more issue with this car though.

When in park radio work, put it in reverse and radio goes out but its still lit. Works in neutral too.

Lots of weird stuff. Problem is he likes to tinker with stuff and I know he played with the amp in the back. I am wondering if he has a bad connection and its tripping the anti-theft.
