Well, I just finished the Strutmasters spring conversion on my 97 Lincoln Cont. It took a little over an hour to do on a lift. It was very easy and the instructions were straight forward and to the point. There is also some wires to cut and splice under the rear seat to disable the air bag light, but again the instructions were great and this was no problem. On the test ride I could tell little difference in the springs vs. the bags and to me I like the ride better. I would highly recommend anyone to do this or have this done to their car instead of selling it due to the air bags not working. I love my car again!!!!

The 97's only have bags in the rear, the front struts have springs and are electronically controlled.

You can also get new lifetime bags from them or arnottindustries as well. Also if you need it solenoids, compressor and dryer as well also lifetime. I replaced the ones on my 98 towncar when I had it and they seemed to handle a bit better than the oem ones, which weren't leaking yet but I figured they had to be close. Whats the ride height like vs the bags?
