97 mph?

I've installed 4.10's At first idn't put speedo gear in speedo went to 137 caractually going 97. Now i've installed speedo gear speedo won't go over 97. Car is hitting governor while i'm crossing 1000' mark killing me at dragstrip any suggestions?

It's the transmission speed limiter. You're gonna need a tune.

definatley hitting the speed limiter after the gear swap.

this is nothing new.

definatley gonna need a tune, if you want to ever drive over 97MPH

Yea if the main thing you want to do is take off the top speed limiter, get the SCT product. I have mine taken off with my Sniper tuner but I had to get a custom tune sent to me.

I'm not realizing anything, I still think the Sniper is the better product for the price and I would get it again. However it does have certain flaws and quirks which need to be corrected in the future.
