98 climate control lights out on some buttons?

Is there a way to replace lights that our out in AC control box? I just noticed some buttons don't light up.

Yes. Remove the climate control unit from the car, then carefully take the front face off of the unit, and you will see the bulbs.

They are t4 neo wedge bulbs. I suggest you buy the bulbs before removing the unit since these bulbs, for me at least, aren't readily available in stores. However the dial bulb is not a t4 neo wedge and will need to be spliced in. From what i saw the after market connector are slightly different but you can remove the bulb from the base and put the new bulb on the old factory base.

I bought those too but I had to pull out the bulb and install it on the original base. Otherwise the motherboard on which it tightens on to is to wide and you have to force it... I didn't like that.

They can. I got some about 10 years ago when I had my '96 Mark. They will usually just give you the bulb. They've got them in a rack behind the parts counter at my local stealership. I asked for 3 of them and the guy just picked a handful out and gave them to me
