Took my 98 LSC to the track today. Conditions were in the 70's-80's, the DA started off at 1300-1400ft and went down to 750-800 feet by the time we were done. The usual Sonoma Raceway headwind was in effect as well. I was in full street trim on my heavy 19 inch wheels with street tires, the cut outs closed and some stuff in the trunk. I was running no nitrous, launching off idle and was running consistent 14.2's in drive. With the IMRC's removed the car has no torque down low (it really needs a stall) so it was running high 2.1-2.2 60 foot times. My best run of the night was with a 2.146 60 foot time, it ran a 14.1 at 98.4 MPH. 9.1 1/8 mile at 78.51 MPH. The other thing holding it back is the lazy 2-3 shift, car needs a j-mod, stall, retune on the dyno, swap the 16's back on with some drag radials and it will run 13's all day. Overall im pretty happy with it's performance. A few people looking under my hood asked my how big of a shot I was spraying and it felt good telling them the bottle is not in the car. ;)

Go to a sea level track and that 13 second slip should be yours.

Just for comparison sake, I ran a 14.02 at 97mph with the stock intake manifold, on the 16's with drag radials but it launched better with a 2.0 60 foot time.
