OK, with all this warm weather I have been fixing up the Mark.

I want to replace the vapor canister bracket (it is all rusted out) I have figured out how to remove all the vapor hoses except one. Does anyone know how to remove the black one shown in the photo? I have squeezed, pulled, pushed and twisted - it does not budge. All the others I just squeezed and they pulled right off. This hose is under the trunk pan on the pass. side.

it should just come off like you said i see a lot of them that it is actually the plastic o-rings that are stuck try twisting while pulling and be careful in case the o-rings come out cuz its only avil. with the whole line, try spraying some PB blaster (wd-40 but better) down inside and just work it

Thanks for the advise, still will not @#@#% budge. I sprayed with PB, waited 5 minutes, twisted, turned, pulled and even pushed. I actually broke the line bracket while doing this. I just don't get it. If I could get the hose to the canister I would just cut the little #$# off.

I will try again when it warms up again- no more 70' weather this week!

i know you dont want to hear this but sometimes they just break i would just keep soaking it and eventually it will come

Would you mind telling me where this is on your 98'Mark. I think that is why I smell gas sometimes.

Passenger side- under the trunk - there is a large metal basket that holds the Vapor canisters. There are three hoses - one on driver side and two on passenger side - very nasty dirty little bastards - wear rubber gloves!

The two on the pass side are the culprits on mine.

Ok, still nothing I sprayed and pulled and sprayed and pulled and wait and pulled and srayed some more...sprayed an entire can of PB then Loctite loosener. Nothin seems to want to budge this one hose. I have written to 5 star Ford with the shop picture to see if the hoses are still avaialble before I cut the #^%#$@ plastic connector off.

Have you tried a fuel-line disconnect tool? That may be the situation here.

I thought about that , even a a wierd little tool (not the round a/c type) that slips down either side and still nothing. Team Ford cant find the parts, so I guess I will wait till it gets warmer and try again.

Ah ha! Team Ford Came up with the parts!

F8LZ-9K313-AA (whole assy, not just both hoses but connectors too! -hoses and connectors are also listed separately)

F7LZ-9K324-AB (the other hose on the driver side) all for less than $50

Now I can cut the #@$%@% off and crush it like it deserves.
