Good time. Myself and a few other local LVc board members frequent GLD quite often. Maybe we will have to meet up at the track sometime.

Yeah, if that announcer dude is impressed by a car he will let the crowd know. Sometimes it is funny to hear him a ranting and raving over a car.

Just to be sure, did or did not the name "Continental" ever have any application to Mark VIIIs? Because the track announcer at ABQ dragway sure seems to think that's what it is. Next time on the tech card I'm writing "Mark 8 - Not Continental."

early mark 7's were called lincoln continetal mark VII.and earlier mark also,not mark viii though

The video from GLD vs the stang it was on opening day at GLD.He was running full weight on the car .Nothing was removed to save some weight ,not even spare tire.He run it 3 times that day and hit 12.1 every time.Here is the other video with all the mods in my brothers mark 8.He's gonna shoot for low 11's or high 10's in this fall or next spring with more boost,alky injection,headers and cobra intake.BTW The t-bird in the video is mine.We don't go to GLD so often too many people.We uaslly go to US41.
