I have a 98 black on black LSC, that i bought from an italian lady with 130K. It now has about 180K on the clock. This car has been my daily driver for the past 3 years or so. The body is OK. No paint peel/fading, tho it has some small dents and scratches. Cleaned up it looks nice. The car has 20% tints that i had professionally installed. Also has octastars that are in very nice shape (not all peely like some)
The goods:
4.10 rear end with detroit trutrac posi unit (2 years old)
XCAL2 programmer
new fuel injectors
Focus 255lph fuel pump (almost new)
Cobra R rear shocks
Both HIDs work
New rear perelli tires
4" mmx driveshaft
The Bads:
Engine leaks a bit of oil. I usually top off a half quart between oil changes.
Blend door doesnt work (damn gen 2's)
The front bags just started leaking
Needs 02 sensors (i believe they are original)
Front end is a bit loose. I have new ball joints for it, just havent put them in yet! i even have the press. (i;ll probably do that either way)
I cant think of anything else at the moment. The car runs and drives fine (its been my only car for the past 3 or so years) It just needs too much work right now, and i work in a real nasty part of Hartford CT, where cars get robbed and messed up all the time, so i dont want to fix it all up then have it robbed or something. I'm looking for an 80s crown vic or caprice as a beater that will run like a bear and i wont have to worry about. (id be interested in trades!)
Also, the car comes with chrome cobra Rs that have trashed tires and are a little rough, but they would come wih the car.
I would be looking for 1000 dollars. (not bad seeing the reciept for the rear end alone was like 1400!!!) But, i need to buy something in the meantime, so its not available this minute. just seeing if theres any interest.
