Hey folks appreciate any help you can offer!
70k miles and a heap of sudden trouble...
1. Check Security system light came on. Battery dies and now engine is running rough. Prior to that it had no problems. Dealer wants $650 to repl
2. They say rough running is due to a tune up being needed... Fuel System cleaning, fuel filter, wires, plugs, PCV valve $1121. I;m not inclined to do any sort of tune-up without seeing if the security module is the problem
3. I went to passive struts from Strutmaster a year ago when I got the car. Been getting noise ever since the small town mechanic I used to install them. Anyone know of a Southern Md [or nearby] garage familiar with Strutmaster conversion? Either they are installed wrong or they are the wrong part... Strutmaster had to send me two or three units before we even thought we had the correct parts! Kinda disappointed after all their "direct bolt" claims...
Any recommendations?
