A/C problems

My buddy's 01 TC a/c compressor overheated and we need to fix the A/C as cheap as possible.

or get Motorcraft parts?

Also gonna replace the two hoses with the mufflers and the expansion valves.Gonna buy a vacuum pump and flush kit.any advice would help as I never worked on A/C before.And can the condenser on these cars be flushed or does it need to be replaced too?.

you can try flushing and back flushing but i havent had luck and always had to end up replacing.

no metal made it to the evap i hope....
