Hey everyone.
Just wanted to let you all know how cool you all are and how nice it is to have/give support to you all. I just got my car back from the dealership today with a brand new set of ball joints on the front (or should i say the retarded and costly knuckles?) But, i didn't have to pay for it since i still have about 1700 miles/2 months left on the warranty. Get this, I bought my car from a dodge dealership and they put a 3 month/3000 mile warranty on it with them paying 100% parts/labor so at least I didn't have to pay for this repair. I'm thinking of just finding anything I can to get them to fix it (though judging by what they said today, they would just rather have me get the work done at my dealership and send them the bill.......so whatever i guess :wrench
So the bad news..........apparently they scanned my car for codes and came up with U2018 (passenger side crash sensor) They claim it was there when I dropped it off (which it wasn't) and that the airbag light was on in the display when they got done with it. However, it wasn't there when I picked the car up. They told me they DIDNT reset it, so what should I make of this??? Thanks a lot.......you all rock!

I would get a big hammer and beat the crap out of the passenger side until the light comes back on. :D :joke

Just make sure you document (work orders) any problems you have them check so that even after the warranty is expired they are still resposible because it was an existing problem.

If the code doesn't show up again before the warranty is up you may want to get a diagnostic run anyway because it may be in the pending codes and will show up later.

Let us know what happens.
