Well, after much anticipation, i finally got that ride in the purple monster of Geno's. Me, and my buddy, went down to genos place, to take his beast out for a spin (namely to see if i liked the tranny, for mine). After watching many awesome movies that i havent seen posted, and learning more about the amazing prototype supercharged Mark (which btw, is amazing), we all went out to his beastly beauty. I TELL YOU WHAT! That car has everything iv been looking for in a n/a mark! 4.10's, posi, Amazing lms build tranny, all them bolt ons that LMS has to offer. WOW! I was kinda expecting him to drive like everyone else does, just nice and easy, and i figgured that i wouldnt get a taste of the driving that took me through 2 trannies in 20,000 mi. LOL, well, i was wrong. I tell ya what Geno, you sure can drive...ya even got my heart pumpin a little fast a few times. We smacked down on an impalla or two, jumped it up to 140 with ease (i didnt think you could with 4.10's, but yeah, ya can) saw the actual 27mpg @ 75mph, hit a few jumps, went over a few bumps, impressed the ladies. Man, i thought that car was mostly just show, and not too much go, OH BOY! I was WRONG. Geno, and LMS has their stuff DOWN. Man, i tell ya, all you naysayers...dont say nothing bad about genos stuff untill you actually see what it does in person. All i can say, is everything hes said...all true. I am definatly getting the tranny hes got in there for mine, and hopefully EVERYTHING else hes got. It impressed my friend so much, hes seriously contemplating selling his '85 Monte Carlo SS with a 450hp 406, just so he can get a mark and make it bad ass like Geno did. Btw, Geno, your wife is hilarious. Thanks for the AWESOME day, ill never for get it!

Mr Wilson, I can only say that you've had the opportunity of a lifetime. I've been with the G-Man on a few occasions and have been witness to some of his wicked and insanely crazy burnouts. He drives just like I like to do, but can only do it on a Playstation 2 running Gran Turismo 3&4. Fishtails, burn outs, and is an appareant expert at drifting. I'm glad you had the chance. I want a turn next.

Here's 2U G-Money.

Hope to see you again soon. My wilderbeast needs some more help. Now that I'm full time at Pep Boys again, I'll be able to get my baby back to normal !!!

After reading the posts, I want a Mark VIII morre than ever now!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pepperman, even with all the challenges I've had with this vehicle, I know I'll probably never own anything other than a Mark VIII. Even if I don't keep this one, I know I'll buy another one. I want the much talked about 96 LSC, and start from there. I've gotta' pretty Pearlescent White 94. Somehow I don't think they worked all of the bugs out in the early Generation 1 Marks, but I'm eagerly looking for my second one as we speak.

Nothing like a Mark VIII on the entire planet.
:L :dj:

Thanks Art. Yeah Mr. Wilson, it was fun! Tons of sideways action! Babes, people giving thumbs up! Right to 140 like nothing! ACTION packed and fun day. You got to meet the cats and my comedian Wife, see cool movies, it was a good Sunday. Nice to finally meet you and your friend. Now you have to take a ride in the Bug from Hell for a REAL scare!

Prophecor,
I know that i will get a Mark VIII someday. I like my 91 Town Car but, I have wanted a Mark VIII for a long time.

I will be taking the 94 to have some work done eventually and probably having the tranny rebuilt in the process after we get settled in, especially since I will only be 45 miles from his shop. I have to sell my Mustang first though.

Oh man!! This is inhumane! I cant take it, I need more power for my 93, and I need out of Iraq. I just decided to go with the 4.10s after reading this. My wife is gonna be mad, since I already have a hotrod in my 66' Mustang. Geno, how bout the part numbers for your exhaust, so I can make mine sound like a lion instead of a tabby?

I know the first 2 are both mufflers but what else is required for a full system?just the X pipe and one of the above mufflers?? I'm picking up my new to me 98 Mark when I get out of Iraq this month and looking to get some work done already so I must know. :) Thanks

Well this is kinda interesting to me as I have my WRX down South in Brick NJ. Of course now I find that a Mark VIII shop is down there too.

Looks like I will be doin more miles to South Jersey now...
