so my buddy forgot to put the oil cap back on his 4 runner after his oil change and well you guess what happened. SO he took his grandmas 2005 focus base model. 2.2l 4 banger, he fills it up with 93 premium and puts 2 bottles of octane booster in it and HOLY SHEIT!!!! we couldnt get traction in that thing, heres a vid from 100KPH to 140KPH i thought it was pretty fast for a grocery getter 4 banger. oh and we buried the needle at 190KPH while racing a dodge stealth! i dont know if he was playing with us or just couldnt keep up but he had a fart can on it so you could hear his rpms and they were prettttty high

I'm on my second Focus. Love'm (1st gen ones that is). Getting a Fiesta too.

A chevy guy I work with rented a recent late 'ugly' body style Focus while on vacation. He couldn't find a fault with it and loved how it handled and even thought it was a reasonable performer. Good report considering he's a GM guy.
