This question is actually for anyone in the know, but the question itself strictly pertains to Lincoln Town Cars (& 1980 Lincoln Continental Town Cars).
Alrighty, here we go!
Has anyone ever seen a Lincoln Town Car made between 1980 and 1989 that did NOT have any form of vinyl covering on it's roof? I'm not talking about any custom jobbies either.(let me re-phrase that....)

HAS THERE EVER BEEN A 1980-89 LINCOLN TOWN CAR THAT DID NOT COME FROM THE MANUFACTURER WITH ANY FORM OF VINYL COVERING ON IT'S ROOF?
:feedback
If anyone has seen one, is the roof clean and smooth like the latter-day(1990-97's) or does it look creepy, like it was a injustice to the laws of nature?
Appreciate any input, Thanx;Randeaux

i believe i've seen one, and it doesn't look too bad, but it doesn't have the same look as the Town Car with the vinyl. I like the vinyl better personally.

I dont think so. I think they came that way from the manufacturer. Some people may have changed it after - but I think they were made with the vinyl roof.

I saw one on cardomain that lost its vynl, and i personally lost my cloth top. Just picture a very boxy angular and crude fit and finish under there. if you are looking for something without a top, you can check the nontowncar nonmark continental of 82. They are rare though.
