I am looking to purchase a after market radio for my LS. FINALLY! Yay! But the one I am interested in, isn't a double din radio. Though I have found a mount kit for a single din radio, it only comes in black. I have a silver finish in my LS, and I am scared that it will look hideous. Does anyone know were I can find a silver matched radio mount kit for a single din radio? Thank you.

^^^ that wont match the factory silver color. Do I search to find what color people used for the interior if you're going to paint the black pieces. Alex Bougie, something like that, painted his center console piece silveer and I think jolinc did too.

I would say go with a double did, single dins dont look good in place of a double din.

I agree with the double din suggestion. You can get them cheap online, especially if it's a model or two behind the newest ones, which in most cases are still good units. It's a much cleaner looking install buddy.

Can someone please point me in the direction of a cheap one that's at least decent for the price? Thanks.

I posted this elsewhere but I was looking at this one if I could put one in.

Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD

My brother owned this one, he may still have it if IIRC, not a bad one either.

Pioneer AVH-P2300DVD

The same one with built in Bluetooth.

Pioneer AVH-P3200BT

These are all Pioneer Brand. None of these are bad, you obviously pay more for more options, these are entry level and I assume they have more options than a high end single din may have. Don't quote me but that's just my assumption, there's obviously a lot of highly capable single din units. Every brand has something different that you might like and every brand has it's quirks. I personally like the Pioneer interface on both my brother's double dins. You could spend days looking through that website finding one you like.

I have the Pioneer AVH-P3200BT w/optional Navi and Sirius and couldn't be happier. I have had no problems, it was cheap and looks good.

It's not a bad unit for under $300. I would use that one for a double din if I didn't want a 7" screen so much. I guess the advantage to that one is that you actually have buttons to press instead of everything being touch sensitive.
