Wow that six flags video is crazy. Did they say why they never reopened it? Given the circumstances everything appears to be in pretty good shape. I'm surprised they didn't atleast sell the rides to other parks as that it pretty common practice.

According to the Wikipedia article, they removed the only ride they considered to be salvageable, refurbished it, and installed it in their park in San Antonio. Also, as of 2009, Six Flags said the park remained closed because of conflicts with the insurance companies.
