ABS and traction contol lights

I replaced my airbags with springs. When we finsihed the job the ABS light stayed on so we went back and cleaned the sensor and the light stilled stayed on. Traction control is turned off and will not turn on. The car is hard to control, since power is just from one wheel.
Are there any codes I can look for to confirm if the problem is a bad sensor? What else could cause this.

Sounds like a bad ABS sensor to me.

make sure the front sensors are plugged in, and if you didnt unplug them, more than likely you stretched the wires and broke them internally
