I recently purchased a working, used and complete ABS Brake master Cylinder system for my 1988 Lincoln Mark VII to get the Pressure switch which I used to replace my faulty one.

The entire assembly, except for the pressure switch, is available for sale to folks on the forum. Before I put it on ebay, I will make it available to anyone on the forum for $70.00.

Contact me directly at redcatman74 at hotmail dot com if you would like to purchase it.

The assembly weighs 22 pounds and measures approximately 12x12x24 inches. To figure shipment costs go to www.usps.com and use the shipment cost tool.

I will defer putting it on ebay for two days (Wednesday, March 9) to allow folks on the two Lincoln forums I am posting this message time to purchase it.

Thanks.

Mark VII pressure switch

So, is this the switch that nobody is able to locate to get my '86 driveable again?

If so, I will be putting my car on e-bay...

Thanks!

They're available from the yards as they were used in many cars.

Don't sell the Mark; restore and maintain and it'll love you back for many years.

Thanks, but

this is the second shop in three months. The first shop was able to locate a switch, but it didn't work either.

I'm shopping for a Toyota 4Runner...the Mark's on reno.craigslist.

I really do appreciate your input! :)

You're welcome.

Thank ~you~ for not sending it to the yard. Even if you only get $300.00 for it sight-unseen, it would be better than allowing another one of these rare cars to be crushed and turned into cat food cans.

Send it to the yard?

OHMGosh, never!!

It's got too much useable stuff still, and it's still very pretty. I'm just not a mechanic, nor do I have a mechanic type in my life...'cept for you... ;-)

Take care,

:)

It's the story of my life ... women love me for my mind.

There seems to always be at least ONE good FORD/LINCOLN/MERCURY mechanic in each metropolis that I've spoken to. Sometimes it's the gray haired guy in the clean uniform and sipping coffee at the FLM dealer. Other times it's the quiet Dude from the two bay garage on the side street behind the school. Normally though, these geniuses are only found via word of mouth and then they are kept as close friends forever.

I understand your reasons for selling. Please understand my reasons for NOT selling (as a collector that is).
