ABS Module

[BUCKEYE LS]

Has anyone successfully swapped out a used ABS module from a different LS? I've read the threads and seem to get conflicting answers that they can't be re-programmed or that you can swap them out but need Ford to do a separate scan. Any info would be great!

Also, anyone who has removed from another LS ... do you have a how-to remove for me? (not a natural)

Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Module

Item Part Number Description
1 — Anti-lock brake system (ABS) module electrical connector
2 2M101 ABS module bolts (3 required)
3 2C219 ABS module

Removal and Installation

Position the battery junction box (BJB) aside.
Release the clips.
Position the BJB aside.

Disconnect the ABS electrical connector.

Remove the 3 ABS module screws and the ABS module.
To install, tighten to 2 Nm (18 lb-in).

NOTE: Use the diagnostic tool to configure the ABS module.
