I haven't had A/C for about 2 months now. When I decided to turn on the A/C I noticed I didn't hear the click or fan sound. I'm new to this so I thought to go and buy some AC Pro and Recharge the system myself, I followed all of the instructions (precisely), and still I have no cold air coming out. I checked all of the fuses, I turned the vehicle off and back on, I took it for a drive for 10 minutes, I changed the passenger side temp to the highest (heat) it didn't heat up it just stayed at its current temperature. Can someone please guide me to the solution?

So, if I understand this correctly, your real problem is that you have no airflow?
If so, your AC system is probably overcharged now, and may need to have some refrigerant removed, once you solve the airflow problem.

You could have:
1. A bad blower motor.
2. A blown fuse.
3. A bad blower speed controller.
4, A bad DATC.
5. A combination of the above problems.

Alternately, if your blower is working (and you meant the engine fan), then you may have two problems. An AC system issue and a cooling system issue.

What year is your LS?

I would take it to a place that specializes in AC service or the dealer, let them test it, and they will tell you what is wrong.

also, those recharge kits usually only work if you refrigerant is low and you can put some more in, other wise as joe said, you will need to have the old vacuumed out first to make room for the new. and if you're low on refrigerant, then you have a leak that needs to get fixed first...

Yes, I have air flow. Normally when I turn the AC on I would hear the fan go into high speed. Like even if I stop the car get out while it's running you 'knew' the AC was on now it's like the normal engine noise. When I re-charged it, I put 45psi of refrigerant in.

You should start with the self diagnostic test run from the DATC.

Recheck Fuse #1 10 Amp underhood. Listed as "A/C Clutch" Be sure the fuse is good, run a continuity test on it if need be, make sure the contacts are not corroded and that it's getting seated properly when reinserted.

The fuse is good @bigrigls... I checked that also earlier today, I read up on it in this forum room. Now as far as the AC clutch I don't know where it's located, I have a mac and my LS manual is only compatible with a windows based system.

Is the AC clutch attached to the compressor?

No I was asking you where was it located so I could check the connections etc. lol

As Joe suggest, start with the DATC self test and see if it gives you code which will point you in a more "specific" direction.

Fuse was a quick check.

Driver side, bottom of engine by the wheel. It sits right below the power steering pump which you can tell it is the steering pump since a hose runs from it to the resevoir tank just above it.

scroll down to: Front Panel DATC Module Self-Test (On-Demand Diagnostic Trouble Codes — DTCs)

There's an online Service Repair Manual for the 2nd GEN LS available
here: http://deneau.info/ls/

The self test for 1st GEN is available here:
http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/fo...ng-Climate-Control-System-No-Heat-Information

Scroll down a little.

I'm not 100% sure if the two GEN's are the same or not. (didn't check)
EDIT: seems to be.

If you don't hear the Blower turn on then the A/C Compressor or Clutch doesn't matter. Because if the Blower doesn't turn on you're not gonna feel anything at all.
