Lately when I turn on my AC, it wont come on right away. Thirty seconds would pass then it would turn on. Also The air would blow out, then it wouldn't. This would go on for about 15 minutes, then it would function normally. Has anyone ever experienced this?

Mine has never started blowing immediatley. Even if I have it on auto set to 60* it takes a few seconds ~30 before the fan starts to blow. Is that what your's does? However I don't have a problem with it being intermintent.

The slow start was like that with my original broken buttoned EATC, and with my 96 EATC. I always just figured that's the way it was meant to work...?

Pull down your glovebox and look at the wire harness (should be an orange and black wire)that goes from the blower motor to the blower motor controller (looks like a lil amp that is connected to the bottom of the blower assembly. Find that wire and wiggle it when the A/C is on. If it goes off/on you will need to replace that wire. Most of the time that is the culprit....that wire harness.....or the blower motor controller.

Hope that helps.

LOL, when I was a kid, I always wiggled that wire in the glove box for the A/C for my dad to get it to work but if you hit a bump it would loss connection. I think it was in 96 SO I was 12 years old
