accessory drive belt tension

Hello,
I am looking to replace my alternator on my 2000 LS V8.
I found the instruction here http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/showpost.php?p=29316&postcount=2.

Does anyone have the instructions or picture etc etc of where the acessory belt tension is set for this step "Relieve the accessory drive belt tension and move the belt off the generator pulley. For additional information, refer to Section 303-05."

Any assistance appriciated.

The idler pulley is spring loaded. Just pry against the spring to put the belt on or take it off. Good luck!

you relieve the pressure using a 3/8" breaker bar (or sepentine belt tenioner tool) - the head fits into the hole in the arm of the tensioner and your turn it counter-clockwise to slack the belt.
