Oh my eyes! I hate to see an LS look like that! So, they totaled it? I guess you'll have to apply for a salvage title now. Hopefully you can build it bigger and better!

ouch man, uuu it will buff out.... sorry somone had to say it.
I hope things go alright for you, that really just sucks I would be sooo pissed.

Wow! Glad you're alright!!! How exactly did she hit you? It looks like impact was the driver side on an angle, but how did the right side rear end get damaged too? Were you pushed into something after she impacted the right side?

Maybe its me, but your rear drivers side wheel looks bent inwards in the 2nd picture. If so, i would have taken the money and be done with the car. Body damage can be fixed but drivetrain or frame damage in that car....forget about it. Good luck though.

Doesn't look totalled, I'd try and fix it. I've gotten hit twice and its such an awful feeling. Good luck.

I think he got the car for only ~1250. I think if the rebuild doesn't work you can atleast sell the parts from it for double that, engine, lights, tires they all seem untouched.
Either way good buy IMO.

she lost control on a highway and wuz swervin all over, and hit me head on rite into the rear drivers side wheel (thas why its bent) she like hit me at an angle all the way thru my door and spun me out and my rear end hit the right shoulder guard rail... and she hit another guy after me... pretty scary, but i was more pissed than scared or anything... i was half way out my car to smack the person when i noticed it wuz a girl :slam the frame and everything is fine, i just mite need a few parts for the rear suspension like a knuckle assembly or suttin, but everything looked good to me... ill see wut Lincoln says...

thanks for everybodys concern... hopefully ill have my baby up n runnin for the spring time

That's ludicrous. Suspension pieces are nut and bolt work.

The car may be totaled however. That's a lot of body damage. How close are the bids to vehicle value?

Glad to see everyone is ok.

That may be true, but will it be the same after the fix? I guess it depends on the extent of the damage, but on a car that is constructed to tight tolerances like the LS is, I have a bad feeling that it will be hard to get this back to its original state.

Best of luck on the fix.

Good points. But since it's been determined the frame isn't tweaked, the car should actually be better than before it was damaged if he uses factory or factory spec suspension components. He will get all new components, bushings, etc and it will be much tighter. I might go as far as replacing the components on both sides while I'm at it.

I would take a hard look at the entire IRS though...that can't have been good on the axles, differential, etc. But if you have to replace all that, I can just about promise you they will total the car. On the up side...there are a couple of complete 3.58 IRS setups out of 03's for sale on eBay. One is asking $200 and the other $300. That's for everything and you get a gear upgrade too!!

I think you will have a more difficult time getting the body fit and finish back to factory specs than the suspension pieces. That will take a heck of a body man. But some of those guys are just flat out artists...so I'm sure it can be done.

Here's an interesting question. Did any of your airbags go off, front or side ? Just wondering.

airbags did not go off and i plan on getting it fixed and maybe getting a newer one along with this one...
