I was thinking about those myself, but givin my predicament at the moment I can not....but I was thinking about them. I had a friend who put these on his Mustang (SOHC not DOHC) and noticed a increase in HP and the like......so hopefully they will do the same for the DOHC motor. :Beer

do you reccomend copper or platinum plugs? should i open the gap up?

To tell you the truth, I am not sure. I have the factory lightning plugs in my car and I gapped them to .46. :Beer

Copper. 0.048" gap. File back the ground electrode to 1/2 way over the center electrode and round off the end. Debur and recheck gap.

PLEASE dont waste your hard earned money on that crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Theres is absolutely nothing wrong with the stock coil packs and Ford Motorsport wires. The stock coils had plenty of juice to fire my plugs under 25 plus LBs of boost they will be just fine in your application, no matter what it is.
Find something else worth while to spend your money on.
TRUST ME ON THIS ONE.

True for the most part, BUT if you need to replace faulty wires or coils, I see no problem 'upgrading' as well. You would actually need a scope to check the coils.

Looks like $315 of bling bling ... that's it.

Take it back if you can, and spend the money elsewhere.

Driller, I filed my plugs on my Mustang and it actually a difference you can feel. So, will it work on the plugs in the Mark too?
I've been getting the scoop on those coil packs. The factory ones work just fine according to Higgins Ford Performance, Mustang Motorsport, Modular Powerhouse, and Mustang Services...catch my drift? Nothing wrong with a nice set of wires though. And copper plugs save a little cash!

thanks guys, i havent bought em yet i was thinking of it, i have motorcraft 8mm plug wires now, so what is the part # for the others or the cobra ones, how bout MSD wires, i want to replace my coil packs cause they got 160k on em just want to freshen up, do you reccomend i use motorcraft or ford racing, are the cobra coil packs the same? give me info...thanks

Your wires are fine, dont touch them.
Just use factory Ford coil packs and some AWSF-22C plugs
