I have just purchased a 1991 Lincoln Town Car, Cartier Edition, in reasonably good shape. There are, of course, some little electrical problems. The problem I need a temporary solution for has to do with a dead driver's power seat. The previous owner spilled a large cup of Mountain Dew on the seat and controls and, naturally, now the seat is immobile.
Is there a way to adjust the seat manually to at least make the car driveable while I figure out what needs to be replaced and get parts? Or is the best bet to park it until I have all my ducks in a row?
None of the other problems (antenna motor shot, radio not working, driver's power window stuck in the up position, thankfully) are a barrier to driving the car.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Carl
