Advance Trac Warning!

Well my question is what may cause my Advance Trac light to come on? Next to getting a diagnostic! I was sitting parked and eating dinner for about five minutes on a vary rainy day. The car was running and all of a sudden my computer said check Advance Trac and the warning light came on. Thats it! Thought maybe someone may have thought?
