i plan on purchasing 2 12" re audio se's or 2 10" re se's and was wondering if there was a problem with fitting a 13" high box under the rear deck in the ls. Also i was wondering where people on this ofrum got their ho alt's i did some research and none of the places that i was looking could do anything for me they said that i have a special alternator that they dont carry. Does anyone have a ho alt or could tell me where to get one?

I look down the little trim piece and I could fit a 15" box high .....and i think it was 32-34 " wide.....I cant remember off hand how wide..... Hope it helps

are u sure u need a new alt? I know many people with 2000W + systems, and they just use a cap and a yellow top battery is sufficient. what kind of wattage do you plan to use?

Opps I meant to post about that too....I just bought a new alt.....I couldnt find one that you could buy .....everyone said you have to go get it made.....so I just put the stock one in again and I put a cap and left the red top in.....If you find one let me know.....

cap's don't do anything... they just store the energy but realy all you are doing is disguising the problem of current draw... your best option is a bat cap. I talked to nate from excessiveamps.comand alincln alternator are buit a specfic wy so that they canont b reprodced iave an 05 and that was the case at last. He said that hean rebild he anual butnot the autmatic. I belie that popain has a 200 amp alternator bt i dont kno where he got hs. fi cant find one im going to need a batcap and a yellow top but does nthing like whata new alt would do.
