I have an 02 lincoln ls v8 and it had the alpine system in it. I replaced the head unit but no sound out of the factory subwoofers?! The head unit I put in has 3 rca channels in the back, if your looking at the back I put them in the far left channel, should they be in the center channel? Thanks

The rear sub amp uses a single channel and only uses one RCA on the aftermarket harnesses. The other RCA on those harnesses goes to the front center amp which also only uses a single channel feed. My radio has a single channel output for the sub so that worked fine and I got a Y-cable to hook the center channel amp to both the left and right side RCA outputs.

So should I try plugging one in on one channel and the other on a different channel?

Front/rear/sub. And I have 1 white and 1 red rca cable from harness
I forget which color was which on mine but I think the red RCA on mine was for the sub.
But anyway, what I would do is hook the sub to the sub on the head unit and get an RCA Y cable to hook the center amp to both the left and right outputs.
Until you get a y cable you could do what I did until I got one and just hook the center amp up to the right channel for the time being.
Mind you the center imaging won't be the same as with the stock unit unless you get an external DSP amp with a center channel on it.
To me it's negligible being only an amateur audiophile. I think it still sounds great even if the imaging isn't 100% correct.

Wait a minute. I just re-read your reply. Do you mean there's only one channel output for the front and one channel output for the rear in addition to the sub output on the head unit?

There's 3 white and 3 red 1 of each for each channel and I have 1 white and 1 red rca cable

So you have 3 front outputs, 3 rear outputs and 3 sub outputs?!!
Are any of them marked left and right?
What's the make and model of your head unit? Maybe I can find an image of the back of one of these so I can see what you're talking about.

There's 6 outputs total, 2 on each channel, 1 white and 1 red on each, and the head unit is a dual XDMA760BT

Ok. I found it. Looks like you'll need two Y cables but you can just hook them up for now to one side. I would hook them both to the right side Which is the bottom.
I made a jpg of how to connect them with Y cables.
