I have an 02 LS and the Air Bag light in on. First it flashes then goes solid. Now every once in a while I get a series of 5 beeps five times in a row then it quits?

This has been covered about a hundred times now.

When it is flashing, it is flashing out a two digit code that gives a clue as to where the problem is. It is almost always the clock spring or the connector under the driver's seat.

The five x five beeps indicate that you have an SRS problem (you already know that) and that your SRS warning light is beginning to fail (you've let it go with the problem too long, it's burning out).

Your owner's manual also explains this.

I just fixed this. As my 2000 LS8 was in an accident before I bought was scared it was going to be an airbag or wiring problem, especially since new clockspring didn't fix airbag light.
Dug under driver seat and connector wiring wasn't even broken, just slightly pulled out of connector. Pushed on connector hard and light is out!
