My air bag warning light is on, with the 3-6 blinking code. My Search Results said it is either the clockspring or a broken wire under seat. The clockspring appears OK( no loss of steering wheel controls), so I checked for under seat issues. Found a broken wire, repaired it, BUT, I still have the warning light.
Any ideas as to what I should check for next. Thanks for any help you have.

likely then the clockspring. It does not always affect the radio controls, depending on which wires are frayed in the connector.

anybody know how long the clock spring last? Since changing it mine lasted 2.5 yrs and now its time to replace it again. Any body know the part number for a 01 v8.

its the wire under the for sure then mine came on did a search on here found a how to and fixed easy fix im guessing a lot easier than the clock spring
