air compressor

can someone tell me what kind of store bought compressor i would need to run air tools like a air rachet and wrench.Im new to pnuematic tools i usually use cordless but after a transmission removal this past week it would come in handy.

Here is the number one problem with air compressors... YOU can NEVER have a big enough one...

First thing, stay away from oil less... just say no to oil less...

You should be able to get by fairly easily with a 3hp 120v with a 20-30 gallon tank...

The compressor I have is a 5hp 220v single stage with a 60 gallon tank, really really wish I have a 5hp 220v TWO stage with an 80 gallon tank...

That one is oil less... junk imo... Craftsman makes one identical in size with an oil pump, that would be a perfect unit...
