Hey, my front air ride was dropping over night just about every or every other night. This started in early march probably, but i was up state ny at college, and being a college kid i had no money to get it checked out. It was pumping it self up and it was fine to drive on, so to make a long story short i have put it off until now. I can afford to take care of it now, but it doesnt seem to be a problem any more, at all. Could it have been cold weather or a faulty sensor correcting itself or what. let me know, thanks

Mine did the same thing. When I first got it in February, the front end would drop overnight, and the back end would sit really high. But lately the front doesn't drop anymore and the back end is sitting a lot lower. Whatever happened, it is pretty sweet.

If you guys have a small leak and depend on the compressor to keep inflating the bag(s), it will eventually wear out the compressor. What year do you have? Eventually, these parts will ALL wear out. These air ride systems will eventually fail.

Read all the threads on coil conversions and you will see the many frustrations with the air ride. I spent $400 once and for all to convert, did the labor myself, no probs since. My new suspension will outlive my car. End of story.

Mine is a 96. I plan on leaving it until I get some student loans this fall. Then I am going to get the strutmasters 1.5" drop kit.

That's the spirit! :Beer :yourock:

Dunno I love the air ride system too much to get rid of it. My 93 mark viii hasnt had any problems with the air ride at all, but the 90 mark vii I owned had the rear bags drop out over night all the time, I checked them out myself and even had replacement bags ready that I got cheap, but it turned out to just be the super cheap O rings that go in the bag between the silenoid. Air ride is too nice to just give up on IMO, specially when it can be something as simple as a $2 dollar part.

Punisher, you are from Davenport? I am from East Moline, I just live in Urbana for school. Nice to see a fellow QCer. I heard the riverfront in D-Port is really nice now. I haven't had the chance to go down there in a while.

Yea, acutally moved to bettendorf recently but still in QC. Riverfront in Davenport is defently looking better, but still has some improvements to go before id call it really nice =p.
