does anyone have this? If so, how much was it and does it work good and easy to install? I'm getting a boocoo of money back from taxes and I'm gonna do an extreme makeover on my car and that's one of the things i'm looking into. So far this is what I have planned:
Getting all the dings and dents taken out and getting the car totally repainted including the crappy chrome trim around the bumper and painting the grille the same as the body, getting my windows tinted, white face gauges, and possbly flowmaster exhaust with an h-pipe or just some glasspacks, haven't decided that yet.

fastbags...

Yeah... I've got those... they are easy as long as you're willing to put the time and effort into doing it right...

Dude, I wrote that article..:) It took more time than money since I started off small and upgraded my parts as time went on and the system evolved. The system has changed since that article was updated.

If you decide to do something like this, it's a "point of no return" type of decision. You're taking your car from stock, to highly modified and if you plan on selling the car I would not recommend it at all.

I recommend two compressors. You can use your stock Mark VIII compressor if money is tight, or you can get a pair of Viair 450s (or similar) compressors. I'm running one Viair 450C and a remanufactured Mark VIII pump from American Air Suspension.

As far as cost is concerned, your valves and compressors will be the most expensive items, and it the cost depends on which ones you choose. 8 valves and two brand new compressors will run between $700 - $1000. Then you have the fittings, lines, and tank which will add between $250-$500. Then there are the incidentals like relays, fuses, high current wiring, etc, which can add up really fast as well. So expect to spend at least a grand and most likely at least a few hundred more.

The kit you are referring to is the kit that I sell that allows you to get a 'parking lot' stance when you park. It ONLY allows the air to be released from the system. Once you start the car back up it will raise to whatever height you have the car set at (factory, or sensor lowered). The kit is not adjustable except for the fact that it opens the vent solenoids in the bags (all of them) and in the compressor allowing all the air to be vented out of the system.

Hope that clears a few things up.
