Air Ride Technologies doesn't make a kit for the LS but, I'm trying to get them to make me one.I know a few guys thet work there and they told me it isn't a popular enough car to develop a kit.
i wont recommend cylinders cause they ride like :q:q:q:q, but you can talk to FBI here in sacramento they are very helpful....www.fbirides.com would recommend the ART shockwaves which i got a quote from FBI for 2,400 everything included and the best out there. bolt on
They look good except that the tires look like the are way tilted in on top at at 4 corners, though it should improve if rasied but may strain the steering componets sitting like that.
Not really. Because as you play with the ride height you will mess up camber even with the kit. Its adjustable. You would end up needing to fix it all the time. Best to get a camber kit if the setup allows for one so that you can get your camber close to perfect whenever you want, but it gets old quick and you will eventually almost never adjust the camber.
Hmmm... I've been considering doing air ride.. does it kill the ride.. make it harder/ rougher? Is it a DIY.. or would you recommend taking it to the shop??
Its not a hard install to undertake overall...well at least it wasnt on my old Nissan Altima. If you are capable of wiring up car stereos and doing basic car maintaince you should be fine. You will need a good selection of hand tools and some air tools would be nice to have more than likely.
The ride quality is very good, unless the car is all the way up or all the way down. Then you tend to get a little bumpy.
All in all I loved having it on my old car and even more I loved installing it myself. I did have the help of a mechanic and full access to his shop. The lift was the best to have during the install. Made my life easier. We were able to run the air lines through the frame keeping them protected.
