Had to park my VIII for about two months! . I got the engine part I needed and got it running now the air ride wont work! No compressor sound! What can I look for! Is there a reset trick? Car is all the way down! Is there a way to put air into the bags?

Thanks

Only way to get air in is through the compressor.

Well I'm guessing that you had a leak in an air bag and the compressor kept trying to keep it up. Good chance the compressor is shot.

Check wire connections on the compressor to make sure that no corrosion is a culprate. Check the Air ride fuse ...

There's no way to put air into the factory system.
How long does it take before the "CHECK AIR SUSPENSION" warning comes up on your info center?

You're going to be left with two choices- deduction and process or elimination to solve this problem, or just going to the FoMoCo dealer and having them scan the system. If you're lucky, you'll get a tech that is familiar with the Mark VIIIs (though that's rare.) They are the only ones that have the scanner than can read the air ride system.

Or just throw in the towel and convert to coil springs.
Arguably a more fiscally conservative decision in the long run.
