clifford blackjack.. its a crazy alarm with 100's of options.. u can literally connect ur PC to it and adjust about everything.. comes with 3 sensors.. remote start if u like.. (but u lose a copy of ur key)..
they also give u a key pad to enter a code when u enter the car.. so if someone steals ur keys and car and drives off.. the car turns off alone if they take it..
I have this on my wife's Aviator. I cannot recommend it. It does some strange things from time to time that nobody can figure out. It has never left her stranded, but it worries me.
But the biggest problem with this system is programming it. It is a royal PIA to do. You had better just plan on calling them, staying on hold for 45 minutes, then having them walk you through the programming. And whenver you enter the programming mode, it seems to set some of the parameters you've changed and saved back to default...so if you haven't written them down, you lose them. They have to be programmed back in whenever you enter programming mode. So let's say you want to adjust sensitivity...and that's all you want to do. You have to reprogram damn near everything because it goes back to default. IIRC, it uses a combination of opening and closing the door, the ignition key, and the door lock button to do the programming. It's a pain guys..it really is. I wish I had bought a Clifford.
