While desparately seeking a replacement Lower Control Arm for my 1987 Lincoln Continental......I called Strutmasters who turned me on to you guys! This is my first experience in a chat room......so bear with me.

I love this car and really want to keep it............but lately.....everything seems to be giving up on me. Had to replace two window motors, replaced the air suspension with mechanical, Digital Odometer stopped working a while ago, drivers door window switch plate anchors are broken and most of the paint is gone, parking brake assembly mount rusted through and is inoperable. All these things I can live with if I could find parts! But stuck out here in the middle of the Pacific.....makes parts very hard to come by............got any good sources for me to contact?

Hope so, I really love this car.......body is in great shape so it was a big surprise when I found the parking brake assembly rusted out.

MAHALO (thank you):) ,

Aloha!! Welcome to the LvC Ohana! You have chosen to join one of the best sites for knowledge, know how and parts sourcing. Post your "needs" under a WTB listing and you’re off! Perhaps a little incentive, with some fresh macadamia nuts and treats may help the process.

Thanks for the links.......will call them in the A.M. None of them list the Lower Control Arm as available. The hole for the pressed in ball joint is elongated from hitting too many potholes and will not allow replacement ball joints to bolt up correctly and no machine shops will touch it because of possible liability if the repair fails.
Mahalo (thank you) and sorry for the delay in responding....tis the season! heehee
