Alternator question

I dont mean to ask non ls qustion but i do have one and if you can help that would be great.

I have a 93 explorer 4.0L that needs a new alternator in it. Can i go up in amp if i have a 140 and go to a 160 or 200 amp will that hurt anything? I run 3 amps and two subs with a power cap. I also have big lights that i run. Thanks for all your help guys

Higher amperage should not be a problem. It just draws a little more power to drive. But to be sure you should check in the Explorer forums.
