I have been looking for a HU that i will be able to have navigation with and its been a struggle to find one for under 1000. I wanted to spend that at the most. Then today on ebay i found this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5867262938
Really cheap and its a name brand.....
nbfytrw is the guys name and he has had good reviews so im just wondering if anyone has delt with him or if u guys think its worth a shot to go ahead and buy it?

Don't do it. If you look at the feedback it was all done within 30 mins by f'd up names. Plus, if you click on the buyers, they have the same feedback score. The item location is Beijing and it can be shipped to Ireland in 1 day and not 1 day for any where else. This is a scam.

ya in the meantime between when i posted and now i have researched him some more and their are way too many strange things about it, so i will just save up more money :(

Affordable nav systems

Okay, go back to ebay and type in (pioneer avh) or (kenwood kvt) and look what they have to offer. Most of the sellers are in the U.S. If you pay attention you can get a great deal. I bought a kenwood excelon kvt-911 with the nav setup for $600 shipped a few months ago. It was used but looked good in the pics. Installed to verify it worked and sold it for $1000 cash. Right now I have a pioneer avh-6400cd that i bought for $400 shipped. It doesn't play dvds but that's why I have a PS2. I'm about to put the nav setup on it and I expect to have under a $1000 when it's done. Just my 2cents...

Does Ken have a clone????

If you follow the link now, it says that the item was removed by eBay, and you should consider the auction cancelled. There's also a warning about not paying with instant cash transfer services (or something like that).

Smells like a scam to me...

Ya its too bad lol 200 would have been really nice for a HU thats worth 2 thousand. I have found that HU for 900 so i guess ill look around some more to try and find a HU that plays dvds and also has nav.
