Americans Need High-Tech Gadgets

Read this article it's interesting. Then post what high tech items you use.


For me:

DSL internet,
Cheaper non iPod MP3 Player,
Cell Phone the cheap free one not a camera phone and no internet access
DVD VCR Combo player
3 CD Changers - 2 111 disc players one 65 disc player all connected to Surround Stystems.
Dish TV Satellite system

I bet there are a few of you guys who have a mega list! Let's see whacha' got!
 
Short List

Here is my short list:
1. Computers (5 all 64 bit total over 1.5 Terabyte storage)
2. DVD burners (all computers equipped with double layer burners)
3. Acer Ferrari Laptop
4. Treo 650 Phone/PDA/Camera with full internet access
5. Nintendo DS (2- 1 for me and 1 for my 5 year old son with internet access)
6. PSP ( Share with my 5 year old with full internet access)
7. Full blown home network with Active directory, Media center PC's connected to all TV's.
8. 55 in. Wide Screen HDTV with HD satellite reciever.
9. DV Camcorder
10. Digital Cameras (3 - 2 are mine and 1 for my 5 Year old.
11. 4 surround sound setups
12. Sony 400 disc DVD player.
13. 2 DVR computer setups
14. 5 different MP3 players

I have way too much money invested in High Tech in my house. But my job is in the computer security field and I have a need to be always connected. I love high tech gadgets and can't see how we all survived before the high tech ages.

Lemme think

1. Laptop

2. Computer with 1.5 TB storage and Three Monitors (Video and Graphics Editing)

3. Mp3 players... Ipod Nano is my fav right now

4. Blackberry

5. V3 RAZR phone

6. 42" Plasma

7. 2 Surround Sound systems all linked to my Music Collection...

8. DSL Internet and Wireless Home network

9. Three Point and Shoot Digital Cameras and One DSLR

10. PSP, PS2, Gamecube, Xbox (soon to be 360), N64, SNES, 8bit Nintendo, Atari 3600, Sega... I like Games

11. More DVD players than I can count...

12. Handheld GPS

13. Whatever I forgot I have and use but since its soo Hightech I can realize its a separate device from my life as I know it!

If I was in the states there would SOOOOO much more but this is for now...
