Amusing pet story

So among the list of animals I have includes a ferret..... Anyone that has one knows they are escape artists, so I'm sitting at the computer this afternoon and i see something crawling through my entertainment center. At first I think its my kitten patches and she looks stuck cause all i see is about an inch of a tail.... i get up and go see what she is doing and low and behold its my ferret spaz. Somehow he has managed to escape his cage and has been running around the house all morning unsupervised!!! thank god my dogs and cats are accustom to him cause if not they would have thought he was a toy. He also managed to get out of his bell collar which is why I didnt hear him running around. I go to get him out and he looks at me as if to say "oh hi I've been running around looking for you" cause he came right to me when he saw me...

So I get him back in his cage and hes just sitting there looking like "what'd i do?!"

Funny, mine did the same thing last night. We have him in a 3 level cage and it has a door on all sides on all 3 levels. Last night I wake up with some kind of clanging around in the bathroom and sure enough he was tearing up my wife's lufa thingy. This is old news for him so since he dont really cause any harm we just let him roam but if we have the chance we will cage him a night just so he knows to stay in check. More than once I woke up with him sitting on top of my pillow like a cat sleeping.

I wish I had freggin Penguins!

I saw a Coati Mundi and a Wallaby at some Pet Shop in Atlantic City but they weren't for sale thank god.

Not many really KD, just my fish, the Ferret some newts and my Dragons. Not including the fish I say about 5. But they-except for the Ferret-get kept in aquariums which is the good part about them

Im selling the Geckos and trading my Milk Snake, so.....??? Who knows anymore! I still tell the wife the Ferret needs a friend but we went down that route rescuing some that no one knew the age of which turned out to be pretty damn sad in the end.

Ah that sucks. We had to put our Rottweiler down last winter, pissed me off pretty bad.

On a lighter note, at least you don't have squirrels running around in your coffee jars.
