just finished this car for my buddy after 2 days working on it. him and his dad repainted it last summer and someone wet sanded and buffed it for him and totally hacked it. the paint looked original when he brought it to my shop wed. so much spider webbing in the paint and swirls alllllllllllllllll over it, it was pretty sad looking. so i worked my touch, tomorrow im gonna take some nice day time shots. i have always wanted one of these since they came out. i love these cars.

Nice job Jamie,so want to do mine next (check location)LOL. I'll send it to you a piece at a time. :D

that car looks awesome. I wish i could find more to race. they are always a close race if they are lightly modded. seriously though nice job on the resto. I have a pearlescent pearl 95 lincoln mark viii, and the paint is nearly perfect but needs work in a few spots. But on the drivers side quarterpanel, some of the clearcoat and topcoat has come off, and you can see the layers of primer underneath. It was like that when I bought it, it looks like something scraped down it. Is there a touch up process for that? because everyone is telling me since its pearl, you have to repaint the whole panel.

Nice! I like those... A lot. Those Impala SS's have really held their value - Last of the good ones - Those 'modern' FWD Impalas are an insult to the name. (IMO)

I love that car! Is it just me or do those rear wheels look like they should be moved about 3 inches toward the rear in those side profiles in the second set of pictures(the ones in the sun)?

It looks like a pair of Panties hanging from the mirror!

i worked at a chevy dealer when those first came out, i drove the ever living hell out of a few of them. nice car, for a chevy

the wheels do look off, cuz they are, they all are, for some reason thats how chevy set up the 4 links in them, even the caprice's are the same. hotchkis makes adjustable 4 link bars so you can put the axle back and center the wheels but to do that you have to have the drive shaft lengthend, or have a new driveshaft made. see look at random impala's

:D very niiice

looks great I am jealous but not of the car but lack of snow I miss summer

hey, i put up with snow for 26 years and finally had enough, packed up in august of 03 and moved to florida. this is the absolute best time of year here. i recomend to anyone who ever wanted to come to florida to come in the winter, late october to to early feb. is the best time to come here. summer sucks plain and simple, its hot as piss and just plain sucks, its so funny how the rest of my family already cries when it gets to the 50's here at night , like we never lived in -0 temps in massachusetts, im at the shop in a t-shirt and shorts in the 50's!! i love it here right now, and i do not miss the snow. i dont feel sorry for anyone who lives anywhere that it snows, move like i did lol!!
