I found a guy selling these wheels in 17", 5 x 108, but he couldn't tell me the offset. He said they have never had any tires on them and he will sell the set for $200. They are Moda MD 15. Any idea if they will fit on an LS? Couldn't find it online. I believe Moda is a Tire Rack brand but they don't have them in the 17" any longer.

I did notice other 17" Moda wheels that Tire Rack has list a 48mm offset.

Thanks xford. Do you know what the standard offset is for LS. I think I read somewhere it is 40mm. I am guessing I will need all new lug nuts too just from looking at the size of the holes that go over the studs. I know my stock LS have those kind of weird (at least to me) lug nuts with the wide back on them and the rims have those really large stud openings.

60mm

So a 48mm offset would mean the tire would stick out a little more than a centimeter than it does now if I am thinking correctly?

I would say that is close to accurate but the width of the wheel also matters (I believe most/all stock 17's are 7.5 and 60mm) I have Jaguar Senta knock offs - 20x8.5x49mm and I think they sit about perfect relative to the fender edge. More aggressive than stock and closer to flush without sticking out too far or creating overspray from tires on painted surfaces.

That said with aftermarket wheels I don't think you are ever 100% sure until you do a test fitting. Good tool: http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator#Results
