Anyone got any opinions? 1991 Mustang GT for 1000

I would look it over good. Those H.O.s last very long. My VII has 220k on its 5.0. and sit runs great.

I wanted a mustang before I got the Mark, I'm waiting for an email back. Even if I can just use it to buy me time on fixing the Mark, who knows.

I've been looking for a 5.0 5 Speed on the cheap in my area but haven't had much luck

+1 If I found 1 here for $1,000 I'd take it. They make great project cars since bolt ons are cheap. Too bad none of the hillbillies that own them around here are trying to sell theirs.

since 99.9% of mustangs are worked over pretty good, really pay attention to rust in the tub and then the normal motor issues. If it passes wouldn't hesitate.:D

Its cheap enough he says it has problems have you called him and asked ?
He installed a new clutch cable, ask him about the clutch quadrant.
From what I understad they can be a PITA to change, the miles it has it might need a clutch.
Still for a grand not bad you might have to do some work and throw some more cash at it.
Keep in mind you have one car that needs work....do you need two ?
Would the money be better spent on the Mark ?
What would you have if you put $1500 into your Mark ?

Yeah fordnut thats the point, I do have the Mark. Unfortunately with school and work I get no time to actually work on the Mark. He didn't list a phone number so all I could do last night was email him. If the Mustang runs and drives my gf will lend me 1,000 to buy it. She won't however give me a penny for the Mark haha. Neither will my mother. I was thinking with those foxbodies being so popular getting performance parts wouldn't be a problem. I have no problem owning 2 cars that need work. As long as one can run and drive I'll be happy. I don't however want to buy a beater that I'll hate.

I want a car that runs and drives, and that I'll like enough to want to keep. I may end up giving the mark to either my girlfriend or sister, who knows. I have always wanted a mustang though

LoL she is a smart girl.
But a grand my just get you a car you have no time to work on.
Have you called and asked him whats wrong ?
Can the shop that works on your car time to time look at it ?
No offense intended but you need someone besides yourself to look at the car.
02LSE96LSC91SE84TC is correct they are friendly to work on.

He sold it. :-/ and I missed out on a 1997 oldsmobile aurora in pristine condition for 1,000 as well, an older person croaked and left it for the daughter to sell, tsk tsk
